We learned how to bridge the gap between traditional and new media marketing. We look forward to helping you do the same.
How Blackfish Strategy Started
The idea for Blackfish Strategy, LLC grew out of our own efforts to wrestle with and understand the growth and potential of social media. We were working to grow I’m In Stitches, LLC, an embroidery and screen printing shop near Seattle.
Blackfish Strategy was conceived as our founder discussed with fellow marketing friends a vacuum in small business marketing. There are a variety of businesses that present themselves as offering social media expertise, or will “manage your social media” for you. The key question has always been: what is the value proposition? Almost no one denies the popularity of social media. But a popular extracurricular activity does not translate into a return on investment without a clear strategy.
I’m Gerald Moczynski, Chief Mentor of Blackfish Strategy, LLC. I created Blackfish Strategy in 2014. The company is young, but the founder’s work experience is deep, including:
